SmileCare Dental PLLC is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Annandale, VA

`Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Record patient medical history and vital signs
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain dental records
- Perform dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring and trimming models

```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dentrix software systems
- Experience with medical coding and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with pediatric patients
